Sara Memi Law, PLLC (“Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect through our website (saramemilaw.com) (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. This Notice applies to the Site only and not to information you provide to us in the course of an attorney-client relationship, which is separately protected by attorney-client privilege and the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct.

• Information provided when scheduling a consultation
• Information you provide by email or phone

Information collected automatically:

• IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected through standard web server logs and/or analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Cookies or similar technologies used for basic site functionality and, if applicable, analytics

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data) through this Site.

• Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations

Any service providers who handle client information on our behalf are expected to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards.

Our Site may use cookies or similar technologies to support basic functionality and, where used, website analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality. We do not currently use cookies for third-party targeted advertising.

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have collected about you through the Site or to request that we delete non-client information you have submitted (for example, an inquiry that did not result in representation). Please note we may be required to retain certain records under Texas law or professional conduct rules, particularly once an attorney-client relationship exists.

As a solo practice, the Firm generally qualifies as a “small business” under the U.S. Small Business Administration size standards referenced in the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and does not sell sensitive personal data; accordingly, many TDPSA obligations do not apply to us. If this changes, this Notice will be updated accordingly.

7. Children’s Privacy

This Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Third-Party Links

This Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

We retain information submitted through the Site only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, or as required by applicable law, professional conduct rules, or our internal record-retention policies.
